How to read a listing

Understand the numbers before you inquire

Every listing reports the same core metrics so you can compare opportunities apples-to-apples.

Gross revenue

Total annual billings — the headline size of the practice and the basis for most valuations.

Cash flow (SDE)

Seller’s discretionary earnings: the true owner benefit, and the number lenders underwrite.

Asking multiple

Price as a multiple of gross revenue. Most firms trade near 1.0x, with premiums for recurring, advisory-heavy books.

Recurring revenue %

How much revenue repeats annually — higher recurring means a more stable, more valuable practice.

Client & staff count

Depth of the client base and the team that comes with it, key to transition and retention.

Software & systems

The tax and accounting stack in place, which affects how smoothly a buyer can take over.

Questions

Buyer questions

Does it cost anything to browse listings or request information?

No. Creating a buyer account, browsing, saving searches, and requesting seller information are all free.

What do the financial figures mean?

Gross revenue is annual billings. Cash flow (SDE) is what the owner takes home before owner salary. The multiple is asking price divided by gross revenue. Recurring % shows how much revenue repeats each year.

How do I contact a seller?

Submit a short buyer-interest request. The seller reviews it, and if approved you both sign an NDA and exchange contact details — identities stay masked until then.

Can I get financing to buy a practice?

Yes. Many buyers use SBA 7(a) loans or acquisition lenders; we can point you to financing partners that specialize in practice purchases.

How current are the listings?

Listings are posted and maintained by sellers. Sample data is shown for preview; create a free account to see live, verified financials.
